Peter Lawson was born in Wigan during the War and educated at Charney Hall Prep and St Bees Public Schools.
After school he joined his Father's solicitors practice being articled to the then senior partner who "volunteered" him for the Territorial Army on the day he signed his Articles.
A lifetime practising in the family firm coupled with 10 happy years in the Royal Artillery Light A.A., seven as a Director of Blackpool Football Club (1 as Chairman) followed by 15 years as a golf Greenkeeper.
One lovely wife, two fine sons and now 6 grandchildren lead to him practising from home exclusively as a Notary Public.
He continues to serve on the Notaries Council, since 1982, and was President of the Society in 1995/97 and been Director of Education, Lecturer and Tutor.
